Participate in hands-on learning experiences that build essential skills in reading, spelling, handwriting, and comprehension instruction.

Five Saturday Seminars: Broaden your knowledge through advanced discussions focused on multisensory teaching strategies, differentiated lesson planning, and effective assessment techniques.

Supervised Practicum: Develop practical, real-world experience through a guided practicum that includes five observations, during which you will deliver direct instruction to students with dyslexia or related learning differences.

Certification Milestone: By the end of Year 1, you will be prepared to sit for the ALTA national exam and earn your certification as a Certified Academic Language Practitioner (CALP).
