Since 2001 we have been providing services to children and adults with dyslexia and related learning disabilities while serving as a center for professional development.

After years of frustration we’ve finally found something that works! (And we tried a lot of different things). Matthew used to tell us he wanted to read at bedtime like the rest of us (Mom, Dad, sister). Now he reads to all of us at bedtime.

Frustrated by traditional methods, she immersed herself in research and training, developing a passion for helping other families. Her personal journey has helped to discover effective strategies to support every child’s unique needs.

Our founder, Dr. Lynne Fitzhugh, began this journey as a parent searching for effective ways to support her children with dyslexia. When traditional methods fell short, she turned to research and specialized training, gaining the knowledge and tools needed to make a difference. Her personal experience, along with her professional journey, sparked a passion for helping other families and educators discover practical, research-based strategies that meet each child’s unique learning needs

Evelyn Hinote is the Director of Educational Programming at the Colorado Literacy and Learning Center. She helps families access life-changing literacy support while guiding dyslexia specialists through advanced training and certification. With a background in project management, classroom coordination, and continuing education, Evelyn ensures that students, parents, and professionals have the tools and resources they need to thrive.

Grace is a Certified Academic Language Therapist and licensed English teacher with experience in K-12 and postsecondary education. She is pursuing an MA in Special Education at UCCS and serves on the Colorado College Education Department advisory board. Grace is a member of the Academic Language Therapy Association and the International Dyslexia Association.

Dyann holds an MAT from Colorado College and serves as President-Elect of the Rocky Mountain ALTA Chapter. She works as the Dyslexia Expert for the Colorado Department of Education and supports secondary students in Douglas County. She is training as a Qualified Instructor (QI) and plans to open a dyslexia and learning center.
